The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program supports outstanding graduate students in STEM & Social Sciences who are pursuing research-based Master’s & doctoral degrees at accredited U.S. institutions.

Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Information Session & Writing Advisement – 11:00am-12:30pm
Target audience Undergraduate & Graduate Students + US citizenship required
The CLS Program is part of a U.S. government effort to expand the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. We will begin with a general information session and then offer advisement on statement drafts. *Bring a hard copy of your CLS statements if applying this year. 

WISE: Opportunities for Women in STEM Research – 1:00-1:50pm
Target audience: Undergraduate Students
WISE faculty and undergraduate researchers will share about their research experiences and explain how to apply for the WISE undergraduate researcher program.

Rotary Global Grant Information Session – 11:00-11:50am
Target audience Undergraduate & Graduate Students
Rotary Global Grants are used to fund graduate level study and sustainable, measurable and needs-based community service projects to be completed during a scholarship period related to one of six areas of focus.

USC Scholar Distinctions Information Session – 12:00-12:50pm
Target audience: Undergraduate Students
Academic Honors and Fellowship staff will offer an overview of the Renaissance, Global and Discovery Scholar distinctions and provide insight into the application process and prize competitions.

USC Advanced Fellowships for PhDs – 2:00-2:50pm
Target audience: Doctoral
The USC Graduate School provides a number of competitively awarded fellowships for students who have successfully completed the first years of their PhD program.

Writing A Personal Statement – 3:00-3:50pm
Target audience: Undergraduate Students
Faculty from The Writing Program will offer tips on how to write a personal statement that can be used for graduate school and fellowships.

The Boren Scholarship provides unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program Information Session – 12:00-12:50pm
Target audience: Undergraduate Students + US citizenship required
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship aims to diversify the kinds of students who study and intern abroad and the countries where they go. Students receiving a Federal Pell Grant are invited to learn more about how to apply.

Fulbright U.S. Student Program Information Session with Alumni Ambassador Emmanuel Johnson – 11:00-11:50am

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides funding for an academic year abroad in over 140 countries to carry out research, graduate study, teach English and more!
