Schedule An Appointment

The goal of an advising appointment with AHF staff is to help students identify fellowship opportunities that best align with their academic, leadership, professional interests and past experiences. Appointments are typically one-on-one sessions between 30 – 60 minutes.

Please note: April 20, 2018 is the last day for Spring advising appointments.

Before requesting an appointment…

You are expected to research all fellowships information available on our website. All fellowships pages include details on program overview, eligibility, application materials, and campus deadlines if applicable.

The advising appointment is not meant to serve as a general info session; rather, these appointments provide AHF staff the opportunity to learn more about your background and interests, in order to offer you intentional guidance towards a specific fellowship pathway.

For general information about fellowships, consult our Getting Started section, or review the Research and Fellowships 101 recorded session.

For resources on writing personal statements, preparing for campus interviews, or requesting letters of recommendation, visit Applicant Resources and view the Research and Fellowships Week archives.
