The Henry Luce Foundation seeks to develop a new level of understanding of Asia among future leaders of American society. The program is aimed at students with varied academic backgrounds who demonstrate leadership and have had no prior experience in Asian affairs. The scholarship funds a one-year internship placement in the following countries in East, Southeast and South Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, China and Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
