Fulbright Writing Workshop Series

**All Fulbright U.S. Student Program workshops will take place from 2-4pm in THH 212.

Fulbright Writing Workshop 1: Friday, March 3, 2017
Learn about the components of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program application and discuss how to choose the country and grant type that is the best fit for you.

Required Prep-work for Workshop 1:  Watch the Fulbright Tutorials, read the AHF Fulbright Applicant Timeline and review AHF Resources for Applicants.

Fulbright Writing Workshop 2: Friday, March 24, 2017
USC Writing Program faculty will discuss how to write a strong Statement of Grant Purpose and Personal Statement.  We will review statement outlines in small groups.

Required Prep-work for Workshop 2: Prepare an outline of your Statement of Grant Purpose and Personal Statement and bring a hard copy to the workshop for peer review.

Fulbright Writing Workshop 3: Friday, April 14, 2017
USC Fulbright U.S. Student Program recipients will share their tips on what makes a successful application.  Then we will break up into small groups to workshop drafts of your Statement of Grant Purpose and Personal Statement.

Required Prep-work for Workshop 3: Prepare a draft of your Statement of Grant Purpose and Personal Statement and bring a hard copy of each to the workshop for peer review.
